About Us

Mattest was established in 1991 in Belfast as a commercial materials testing laboratory and has permanent laboratories based in Dublin and Cork. The Belfast laboratory is UKAS accredited, and the Dublin and Cork laboratories are accredited by INAB. Mattest can also provide fully accredited UKAS or INAB equipped site laboratories.

Its key staff are all experienced in materials testing and have been working in this industry, or associated industries, for many years.

Mattest has successfully been involved in many major projects in Ireland and for many major contractors and material suppliers, and continues to do so with the same degree of commitment as ever.

A materials consultancy and advising service completes the Mattest customer package.
